Charlotte Han Sharp Scholarship – Each year in the spring, Tarleton State University participates in Tarleton Giving Day. As a way to celebrate and honor the life and legacy of Charlotte Han Sharp each year, the College that raises the most money on Giving Day will receive this scholarship and will be awarded to a new student each year. Each recipient must be a graduate from a Texas High School and be in good academic standing.

Charlotte Han Sharp Memorial Endowment for Leadership – established to assist senior and junior students who have shown exemplary leadership skills; students will be eligible to apply for the renewable scholarship. Because Mrs. Sharp was a leader in philanthropic efforts for the arts, religion and other charitable groups, we hope to recognize her legacy by supporting those who will be leaders for our future. Charlotte Han Sharp Memorial Scholarship – will be established in the Department of Nursing to increase the percentage of degreed nurses in rural North Texas. More highly qualified nurses are needed in our service area, and this scholarship will provide an opportunity for current and aspiring nurses to advance their education and obtain a bachelor’s degree. The Charlotte Sharp Memorial Endowment is established to support and sustain the Eagle Pantry on the campus of Texas A&M University-Texarkana. The Eagle Pantry opened in September 2019 to provide essential non-perishable and personal hygiene items to students in need. The pantry’s presence proves to be even more critical to students today.
